Handshake: A Documentary about Integrity in Business
Handshake takes an in-depth look at integrity in the modern business world, and explores if old ideals can survive and thrive in a culture of “electronic” success. Is it still possible to buy a cup of coffee or transact millions dollar deals—all with a handshake? How does integrity propel people to succeed in business? What can we learn about ourselves from people still operating this way, and apply to our lives?
The documentary explores what integrity is, who excels at the art of integrity, how to benefit from it, what it means to fall out of integrity, and steps you can take to restore it again. Handshake features everyday folks, as well as famous entrepreneurs, athletes, actors, musicians, doctors and more, who share personal experiences to illustrate integrity is about honoring our word in every moment of our lives. For some, integrity transcends using nothing more than their “word”, for others its a handshake or agreement scribbled on a cocktail napkin. Its not the details laid out in the formal contract that seal the deal. Its the level of honesty and integrity between people that sparks true business success.
